How Natural Diamonds are Formed?

The properties like fire, scintillation and sparkle exhibited by the lab-grown diamonds are also same as organic diamonds. Depending on the method of their production, such diamonds are categorized as either high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) or chemical vapor deposition (CVD) diamonds.
It is difficult to find the difference between lab-grown diamonds and natural diamonds unless you are a gemologist. Both natural and lab-grown diamonds shows similar features and properties. Inclusions which affect the clarity of a diamond are seen in both diamonds so it is important to grade your diamonds with a certified grading agency like GIA or AGS regardless it is a lab-created diamond or a natural diamond.
The time period for developing a lab-grown takes approximately 6 to 10 weeks in a laboratory whereas the natural diamonds are formed over billions of years. The advantages of lab-grown diamonds are that they are environment friendly. The mining process to find natural diamonds can be avoided by promoting the use of lab-grown diamonds. This will help to avoid the disastrous effects that are caused by deep mining.
